Attention Residents & Homeowners:

It is the responsibility of the homeowner to install and maintain a proper building number sign in compliance with the requirements of Ordinance NO. 2010-101, also referred to as "Jackson Township E-911 Street and Building Sign Ordinance." Please see link below for further details. We urge current residents and homeowners who already have signs up to check if it meets these requirements.

Water Testing Alert:

The Township is not testing water.  If you have someone show up to your door saying they are from the Township to test your water, tell them No Thank You, close and lock your door and call Fernridge State Police at 570-646-2271.

Political Sign Guidance:

Jackson Township guidelines for placement of political signs is set forth in the Zoning Ordinance.  We hope this handy information will be helpful to you.  Basically, signs may be placed 30 days prior to Election Day and removed within 7 days after. . . Election Day is November 7th; that means signs may be placed beginning October 8th.  There is no permit needed.  Thank you for checking about our 'rules'!
