Political Signs:

Political Signs do not require permits . . . they are subject to requirements set forth in the Zoning Ordinance however. The PA Primary is May 16, 2017.  Signs may be placed 30 days prior, starting April 16, 2017 and removed 7 days after the election. Thank you for respecting our political sign guidance.

More Sign Guidance:

Jackson Township takes pride; our roadsides are not cluttered with signs.  We ask our residents and those doing business here to respect our roadsides. . . for instance (for common signs that do not require permits), contractors may post a sign only when currently working, yard sale signs must be removed immediately after the sale and political signs should respect our guidelines.  Additionally, signs are not to placed on trees, utility poles or government road signs.

Special Note for Realtors: One sign in front of property is permitted. Please do not place signs 'leading' to the property. For additional information on real estate signs, see Zoning Ordinance Section 1705.6.
Thank You.
